If you would like to help translate LG articles from English into another language, contact the coordinator of your translation above. If there is no version of LG in your language, start one! Even if you can do only a few articles and not an entire issue, it's a start, and others will contact you and offer to help.

If you prefer to translate from another language to English, contact the main site, and we'll let you know when something comes in.

Mirroring Linux Gazette

If you would like to mirror Linux Gazette yourself, a complete directory tree is available on our ftp site (ftp://ftp.ssc.com/pub/lg/www_root/). Basic instructions for set up are in the README.mirrors file in the parent directory (ftp://ftp.ssc.com/pub/lg/README.mirrors). After you have set up your site, you can send us your mirror site information by using the form below. If your browser doesn't support forms, you can simply e-mail your site details to [email protected]. Please include:

Subject: Mirror Site
URL for the web and/or ftp site
Name and e-mail address of the contact person
Your geographical location

If you have sent information about your mirror site and it doesn't yet appear on this list, please resend the URL. Mail has been known to get lost. Also, be careful that you type the full URL and the e-mail address correctly. If I can't find your site, I'll be writing you before adding it to the list.

Be sure to subscribe to our announcement service. Write [email protected] with the word subscribe in the body, so that each month you will receive an e-mail notice when we post the latest issue.
